If you would prefer to have Interserve email it to you, please let us know, otherwise we will mail it to your postal address. However, if you do claim your credit, you can make your initial donation work again by donating it back to Interserve NZ. How do I claim a tax credit?If you didn’t claim for a credit (formerly rebate) last year, you will need to get the credit claim form (IR 526) from the IRD website www.ird.govt.nz, or by calling the INFOexpress on 0800 257 773.What if I don’t receive a tax receipt or lose my original copy?Contact Interserve on talk2us@interserve.org.nz or phone 0800 446 464 and we will be able to send you a copy. Be sure to tell us which period you are requesting a copy for.If I want a copy for my partner do I need to contact Interserve for another tax receipt?You don’t need Interserve to prepare separate receipts if you are sharing a receipt between yourself and your partner – you only need to complete another credit claim form and attach a note explaining that you are sharing receipts and give their name and IRD number.When do the new tax law changes affect my giving?The new tax changes took place for any donations made post 1 April 2008.How do the new tax law changes affect my giving?
Can I receive my tax receipt via email?Yes. To request an electronic copy of your tax receipt simply email your details to talk2us@interserve.org.nz.
