We require nurses who can train nurses and upgrade the quality of nursing.
Nurses should be dedicated Christians with a nursing degree.

Candidates should have at least 2 years’ experience in management of staff, and cross-cultural leadership and management experience in a conflict environment. A bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counselling or other related fields will be needed.

An NGO which strives to address root causes of poverty as it serves the people of Nepal needs surgeons to work in their hospital. The surgeons will deal with both elective and emergency general surgery, and will teach and mentor junior Nepali doctors. Flexibility, the ability to work in a resource-limited setting and an interest in teaching are required. For visa purposes, applicants must currently be registered with the national regulating body in their own country.

This rural 150-bed hospital did over 3800 deliveries in 2011. The existing obstetric team is multinational with a ratio of about 50/50 national to international doctors. The hospital also has an active community health programme and there are opportunities to be involved in research as well as clinical obstetrics. It is an integrated rural health and development program with extensive community work, and there are strong links between the community antenatal clinics and the hospital.
An obstetrician is urgently needed for the hospital after the departure of a long-term senior obstetrician. The post includes a significant training component as national junior doctors are part of the team and come expecting postgraduate training.  The hospital is nationally known for its training of nurse-midwives and community midwives as well as doctors.

A busy obstetric and gynaecological centre with paediatric inpatient care for neonates and infants, and outpatient care for under 5’s, this 100-bed hospital gives government-recognised midwifery training to young women from the Christian community.
There are opportunities for medical, midwifery and nursing students at the hospital to observe and participate in all functions of a physician commensurate with abilities. Observership available in obstetrics, gynaecology and neonatal paediatrics, midwifery and paediatric nursing. Also opportunity for hands-on involvement.
Only female medical students are accepted due to the nature of the hospital. Junior Doctors with a few years' experience, particularly in paediatrics and obstetrics and gynaecology, would be particularly useful. Students should be sensitive to cultural constraints and willing to fit in with expat and national staff.

A mental health professional for missionary care and training of locals is urgently needed! We seek to appoint a psychologist or counsellor to our staff as soon as possible. S/he will be professionally qualified as a clinical or counselling psychologist, or as a counsellor, accredited with the professional association in their home country and experienced in working with clients from a variety of cultures.
Ideally this person would have previous experience of overseas work or would have several years of working experience in the home country plus an understanding of cross-cultural life.

Applicants should have a heart to bless the people of this region, and a willingness to serve Father in unexpected ways. Although some medical and counselling skills are required, a heart to serve with God for building His Kingdom is definitely needed. Good relationship skills are essential.

This organisation has been running a Vocational Training Programme, a Mental Health Programme and a Children's Welfare Programme for over 10 years. There is a strong commitment to the process of deinstitutionalisation and supporting vulnerable people to become integrated in mainstream society with every opportunity to lead full lives.   The project is able to work with the local state psychiatric hospital to support those with mental health problems in a wide area of the country. By providing music, painting, and handicraft classes we have regular interactions with the patients reminding them of skills, talents, and interests they had before coming to the institution.  We also work with doctors to facilitate and encourage transitioning patients back to their homes. The Project is looking for someone with the skills to work in occupational therapy among those with mental health challenges.  Someone with the experience and ability to come alongside and influence the quality of care and assessment of patients is desirable.
