Needed for a busy 115 bed (official-150 bed actual) general hospital in Bangladesh with over 9000 admissions yearly with between 3,000 - 3,500 deliveries. Our general surgeon just left and a proposed replacement did not work out. Range of possible cases (previous surgeon's experience) include emergency abdominal (from perforated gastric ulcers to perforated bowel with gangrene resulting from perforated uteri in botched abortion requiring 12" ascending colon resection); routine hernia repairs, skin grafting for burn patients, repair of cleft lip/palate. The general surgeon who just left is willing to return for approx. 3-4 months Sept-Dec 2010, but after that, no replacement is currently available.
