It also partners with donors and carries out necessary monitoring and evaluation tasks.
The Project Manager will carry out administrative tasks such as writing mailings for fundraising purposes; reporting to donors; taking notes on field trips; evaluating projects; taking Board Meeting minutes; updating stories for the website; carrying out necessary research, etc; and will travel to visit projects and to meet with local leadership. Applicants should have experience in development work, proven management skills and the ability to work in a team. They should be competent in spoken and written English and have respect for different cultures and different church denominations.

A Horticultural Advisor is needed to research the possibilities of small horticultural business development; investigate the potential of new economic crops and the market situation; develop instructional programs to promote the effective growing of fruit and vegetables in squatter settlements and villages to improve family nutrition and income; develop experimental garden plots in order to demonstrate useful techniques; promote alternative technologies where appropriate; and liaise with the relevant government authorities. Experience in orchard management of apples, pears, apricots, plums and peaches would be particularly helpful. A background in fresh fruit marketing and storage would be useful.
