There are many events - organised by us and others - where Interservers share and present, including: Partners on Home Assignment reporting back; topical events or seminars; events we organise together with other mission groups or movements, such as rewire, or the Destination World events. And there are events arranged by others that we support and endorse, because we either believe in what is shared and offered, or believe they present a great learning opportunity for those wanting to grow in mission.

An evening with Father Anthony Gittins (Auckland, 23 Feb 2012)

The Aotearoa New Zealand Association for Mission Studies (ANZAMS) invites you to an evening with noted social anthropologist and mission theologian, Father Anthony Gittins CSSp., Ph.D. As well as having extensive mission experience in various parts of the world, Father Anthony has worked with the homeless in Chicago for a number of years and we have invited him to speak on the theme of “What Discipleship looks like in Obeying the Call to Mission Today.” Father Anthony is the author of several books, including Ministry at the Margins: Strategy and Spirituality for Mission. REWIRE Workshop (Auckland, 24-26 Feb 2012)

The REWIRE Language and Culture Workshop is for anyone interested in cross cultural experience. Learn what it takes to become an effective cross-cultural communicator and productive self-learner in preparation for ministry. Cost $50 per person. For further information please contact OMF.

Interserve Day (Auckland, 28 April 2012)

Our annual Interserve Day will be held in Auckland on Saturday, 28 April 2012. Our special guest speaker will be Libby Little, widow of Tom Little who was murdered in Afghanistan in August 2010.
It's a chance to gather as a community for those who already see Interserve as their mission family, and also for others who want to find out who we are, what we stand for, and how we engage in mission cross-culturally.
